Links to video of the Killer Bees in Chicago

Videos from Chicago!
Hybrid mode is an autonomous mode that is preprogrammed. Ours didn't work too well, but we're in the process of fixing that. So the first 15 seconds is the robot driving itself.

Here's the first match I want to post. It's ugly. It's the match where we get eliminated in the quarter finals.
http://www.soap.circuitrunners.com/2008/movies/il/il_qf2m3.wmv

But here's a great match to watch. This one is when we beat the other alliance, and have a sweet place at the end: http://www.soap.circuitrunners.com/2008/movies/il/il_qf2m2.wmv

And one more from Friday's qualifying matches when we beat 1114, the team that went on to win the entire regional: http://www.soap.circuitrunners.com/2008/movies/il/il_044.wmv

It's WINTER!

There's been some small snow flurries for the past few days, and I've been bundled up pretty good all week to help endure the freezing weather. So here's a couple pictures to officially start off winter! This is me in four long sleeve shirts and a fleece coat. Tomorrow maybe I'll take pictures of me in my winter jacket.

It's Officially Winter!
Time to model the hat and gloves!

Brrr, It's COLD!
Better picture than the other one cause it's not as blurry.

Fluffy Kitty
Even Nabia is cold, all fluffed up and watching the first little snow flurry.

We beat San Diego!!!
An AMAZING football game!

Peter and me
Peter and me, when he was home for his fall break. We went to breakfast, like we used to, and I made him take a picture with me after. It turned out cute.

Senior Game
Derek hugging his mom after being announced before the game.

Kicking Off

Extra Point Attempt
Missed it. :( But it was still a pretty good kick...high and with a lot of power.

Blowout!!!!

Kicking off again!
Go Derek go!

Labor Day Weekend in Dayton!

Hammack!Caro
The girls have a hammack hanging on their front porch, and that's where I relaxed and listend to Derek's game from.

Mary Computering
Mary sat in the porch swing playing on her computer. Clare was out there with us too, but she wasn't feeling very pictureish.

Smores!
Clare, Mary and I made smores. Mary made hers by roasting her marshmallow over the stove.

Mmm, smores!
Ooey Gooey Mary!

Yuuuuummmy smore!
Ooey Gooey Clare!

Tasty smore!!
Ooey Gooey Caro!

Marshmallow Goodness!
She actually WANTED me to take this picture, hehe.

Ooey Gooey Bestest Friends!
We had so much fun with those smores! I love my bestest friend.

Exhausted Couple!
This is Derek and I in the car waiting to go inside for Mass. We're exhausted, because we stayed up until 3:00 playing Settlers of Canaan and then woke up to go to 9:30 Mass at St. Alberts. Cutest exhausted picture ever.

Dirty Room!
This is how Derek's bedroom looked before I tackled it.

Clean Room!
After organizing for a couple hours while Derek studied hard on the bed, this is the end product. A (mostly) clean room and organized desk.

Derek's desk
His desk looks so awesome now. I arranged all his football stuff on his wall. All those pictures to the left all have to do with football. I have a bunch of other pictures to print off to put on another wall, but I hope this gives him confidence and energy to keep going this season.

Cornhole!
Andy B and Derek taking turns throwing the cornhole bags. Andy and I were on a team. We should've won, but didn't because we went over 21 a million times.

Eternity!
My first game of cornhole, and the longest game of cornhole ever. Amy is to the left, I'm to the right...I look exhausted and bored here, but it was really a lot of fun.

My Day as a Zookeeper

Butterfly!
I had to wait like five minutes until the butterfly finally landed, and it was perfect cause it landed on the cactus. I took that one for Clare, and it's actually probably my favorite of the pics that I took

Scottsbluff
Me, Dad and Mom in front of Scotts Bluff. The bluff is named after Hiram Scott, the poor man who was left by his fellor explorers at the base of the bluff to die because he was sick. Poor Scott.

Cousins!
Me and Myria in fron of the Riverside Zoo sign. I had so much fun working with her at the zoo!!!

Cousins2!
Peter and me!! I loved playing Settlers of Catan with him! It was nice just to hang out.

Settlers of Catan
I played this game five different times while we were there! It's a new addiction. Tons of fun. Gotta get my own copy.

Monkey Business!
Mom, me and Myria in the sign. Dad made us do it!! heh.

Oaf!
my favorites were petting the bison and going in with the tamarins. The bison was HUMONGOUS; it was just a huge giant cow. It came right up to the fence and just looked at me like, "Hi, who are you? are you feeding me now? what are you doing just standing there, come let me out!" and I reached out, and touched its horn and then felt it's head, and it's eyes were just huge staring at me. and at first it was scary, cause there *was* a fence between us, but it was just a regular chair fence like the one around my playground at work, and if it REALLY wanted to get out, it coulda just put a bit of pressure on it, but it was just content in its little place, just staring at me while I talked to him. His name is Oaf.
Myria opened the gate for them, and he rushed out to get food, but the other bison, Doc, the younger and little bit smaller one, wouldn't go out the gate. instead he was running back and forth, sorta rushing me but not close to me, and it was kinda scary, really weird. and Myria was like, "What the fuck? You never do that, Doc, what's your problem?" and I thought maybe he didn't like me, so I backed away where he couldn't see me and he went into the yard. but later we found out that he was actually showing off for me! Vicky said that he does that when he's excited, and that he actually must have taken a fancy to me or something and was just trying to get my attnetion. So that was really funny.

Meerkats!
meerkat sniffing my shoe...he was about to pretty much attack it like he did a few minutes before, and I was going to take a picture of it, but Myria walked back into the exhibit and he ran off Meerkats are seriously skittish creatures!!! Every tiny little sound they would jump back in their holes and peek out like, "what the hell is out there??!"

Barbie or Kelly
This is either Barbie or Kelly. Either way it's a mean porcupine who kept trying to poke me with her quills!! These ladies shed their quills once in a while, and I was able to pick one off the ground and take with me. It's one of the black and white ones, and it's about a foot long and about half the thickness of a regular pencil, and is sharp as hell. The porcupine exhibit it is funny cause the meerkats have access to their house, and they come in and steal their fruit and then scamper off, and the porcs are all, "daaaamn where'd my fruit go"

Naked Mole Rats!
Myria kept opening the back of their housing for me so I could take a picture...but it's a bunch of different boxes connected with tunnels, and every time we opened a new box they'd scamper through the tunnel to get away from the light. That's the best picture we could take cause they're little snots.

Little Italy and Darcy
These little Tamaran monkeys are just a little bit bigger than a Derek hand, and they have the attention span of Howie! So they're like, "Oo, what do you have? What are you doing? SUNGLASSES! LET ME SEE THROUGH THEM! Oh, PEANUTS, give me that! Ooo, RAISINS! no, don't give them to HIM, I want it! Oh, look, camera! She brought a camera to play with! Oh lets run outside and then back in five times in two seconds!!"

Darcy
This picture is a really good one of Darcy. he was JUST looking into my camera like, "Ooo, you brought me a toy" and then Little Italy jumped behind my head, and that distracted Darcy and he looked up right as I clicked.

Darcy and Amilio
This is Darcy and Amilio. Amilio is a lion headed tamaran, and he was kicked out of his troop when he became of breeding age. He was beat up pretty bad when they kicked him out, so after the keepers nursed him back to health they put him in with Darcy and Little Italy, and they welcomed him with open arms as their long-lost brother. Also living with them is Felix the porcupine...he's a regular old American Porcupine, but the tamarans seem to think he's their long-lost cousin. They sleep with him and steal his peanuts.

Long Lost Brothers
See, they love each other. Darcy is grooming Amilio!

Little Italy
Little Italy seriously wants my snowcone! She's so funny. This picture kinda shows how small they really are.

Baaaaby Lion Headed Tamaran
he/she was born a couple weeks ago, it was a twin but the brother died. its mom apparently has a new sets of twins like every three months! They're the ones who kicked Amilio out of their troop...and now that Amilio is with Darcy and Little Italy, he's REALLY nice, he's starting to be social and will come up to the keepers for raisin's once in a while

Phoebe
This is my kitty, Nabi's mom! They have the same face, minus the freckle on the nose, and Nabi is grey, not black.

We worked with other animals too, like the zebras, Brookfield and Mary. But we couldn't go in with them. And I didn't get any pictures.

And I went in the Chimp place. not in the cages with them, but really close.
One of them is really old. Her name is Pani, and at the beginning of the summer she hurt her leg, and was limping. They treated her, and it shoulda healed, but then a few weeks later she just stopped walking. Just stopped using her back legs. So they x-rayed her, and took the x-rays to a human surgeon, and he said there wasn't any reason she shouldn't be able to use her legs, she just stopped on her own for reasons no one knows. But now, because she hasn't used them for so long, the muscle is just gone and now she can't physically use them.
She can't go out on exhibit cause she can't get out there, so her life for the past two months has been in their indoors enclosure, just by herself all day. They leave music on for her, but she's still just super excited whenever anyone comes to visit, so we spent like a half hour in there with her.
She was right up against the cage door, and her fingers were on it, so I touched her fingers, and just stroked them while I talked to her, and then when I stopped touching her fingers she waved them at me til my hand came close and she touched mine til I started touching hers again - it was really cool. I fed her a banana, and gave her a drink from the hose (even though she had her own drinking fountain in her place, she liked the hose better), and I fed her a sweet potato too, and she would talk back and do funny things with her hands.
Then Vicky let the rest of the chimps back into their night enclosure (where Pani was). She opened their outside door and yelled, "COME ON GUYS, TIME TO COME IN!"'
And they all came in SCREEECHING, "OOOOHHHH OOOH AAHAAHOOOHSCREEEECH," All excited to be coming in for the night and getting their fruits and onions...WHOLE onions that they ate like apples!
And Scooter tried to shoot water at me, cause he does that to people who watch the exhibit, but not to keepers, and that was really funny. And one of the other chimps, I think it was Milly, was doing sign language, but no one knows what she says except "eat". Aaaaand, it was REALLY REALLY REALLY LOUD!

oh, I didn't tell you the sad part.
They have to euthanize Pani in a couple weeks, cause her life is just so bad right now, living in a dark enclosure for two months. Everyone's really sad about it there, cause she's such a sweet Chimp, but they know it's for the best.
They'll have to treat it like a regular vet visit so she doesn't freak out and so the other chimps don't freak out, and then afterward they have to show the rest of the chimp troop the body so that they know she died and won't start acting out against keepers thinking that the keepers just took her away somewhere. The politics of it is really interesting, but it's super sad.
It was still a really cool memory, not many people can say that they have touched a chimp.

So. That was pretty much it. The most exciting part of the trip for me was going to the zoo with Myria. I loved being with her all day, and seeing the animals was amazing. There was much shovelling of poop, but it didn't smell nearly as bad as changing poopy diapers at the daycare, and it was worth it to see the animals. I took a ton of pictures of The Monument (the bluff) too, but I'll probably only show those in person cause they're just a lot of rock over and over. Maybe I'll find my favorites and post them at a later time.

I'm glad to be home!

Pics of my new hair!

After much demand (and rightly so) from my bestest friend, I've finally uploaded the pictures from my camera of my new hair. So here they are:

Clare and I...so pale. We both don't like this picture, but it's what I have right now.

Self portrait! Still pale!

At the Tigers game...very tan!!
I think this picture is so cute of us.

Derek took a picture of the back for me.

Being silly.

At the game again...we had standing room, but it was so much fun!

Derek at the batting cages hitting 60s

Pudge! At the end of the game we went to sit in the second row....SO COOL.

Here's one more of me, not under a cut cause it's just one.
At the batting cages. I look so ripped in this picture. I'm finally getting strength back in my throwing arm!!! Hitting 60s here too, but I didn't do so well, the skirt was throwing me off a lot.

To see more pictures, click the pictures and they'll take you to my scrapbook. I have more to upload, which I'll do later probably.
Now I'm off to do some laundry and read.
Loves!

Pile of Bees
waiting to get our picture taken in the warm Atlanta sun

Team Pictures
Everyone looking into the sun...this was taken in between the professional ones, so no one is smiling

Two Little Angels
Yeah right! But it is an extremely cute picture of Kate and Tim.

My Favorite

Carla
Carla's sad after we lost in the Quarter Finals.

My Other Favorites
Pam came to Nationals as a guest of FIRST and hung out with us a lot (still sporting the antenna) and helped me harass Tim a bit.

A Different Claw
The boys practicing with a different claw and winning me a stuffed bear

Last Night
We stayed up til about 2am just hanging out in the hallway of the hotel. They're a great group of kids.

Buzz 12
Buzz 12 doing it's thing quite well in autonomous mode.

The Crowd
This is a view of the arena during the awards ceremony from the farthest corner of the Dome. That's about 400 teams.

Buddies
My buddy Kate and I, goofing off during the awards ceremony. There wasn't enough seats, so she sat on my lap.

Programming
This is pretty much what Jim did all the way home: programming on his laptop.

Seductive, Constructive, Productive

Some confusing stuff going on today! Talking to my bestest friend helped <s>emmensely</s> immensely (thank you for being my spell checker, Clare) though. She's the best.

Other than confusingness: classes were great, work was fine, and I just finished my abstract that's due on Friday (I need to email it tomorrow). Yay! I now need to do some more reading for class tomorrow, print off some things for the Chairman's award (robotics stuff), and clean my bedroom.

Yay for productiveness!

See what I've been buzzing about?

I'm HOOOME! And utterly exhausted! I slept in til 10:00, but that doesn't mean much cause in my head it was only 9:00. My team did awesome. We won two awards:
DaimlerChrysler Team Spirit Award...Celebrates extraordinary enthusiasm and spirit through exceptional partnership and teamwork.
Imagery Award
Celebrates attractiveness in engineering and outstanding visual aesthetic integration of machine and team appearance.
So, basically, we are enthusiastic and we look good doing it. We're one of the most recognzied team in FIRST. And we've been attempting to get that Spirit Award for twelve years!!! A good many of us were crying when they called our name.
We made it to the quarter finals, and did alright. But part of Buzz12 broke in our very last match. >_o It's kinda a major part, but it'll be fixed by the Detroit regional Thursday.
Here's a video of one of our matches! I have four other videos that I'll just link to at the bottom if you're interested. The quality died a LOT from uploading to google video...the quality that I have on my computer is amazing. But, oh well. And yes, that's me that you can hear the clearest. >_< BRING ON THE BUZZ!
"Traaadiitioooooon! Tradition!"

Haven't done this in a while, and because I'm awake and trying to settle my mind down I thought I'd fill out a Friday Five:
1. How far back can you trace your family tree? Personally I can't recall that far back unfortunatly. My mom would know both sides of my family though pretty far back. All I know is that I'm about 23% German. :-D

2. What is the most interesting (or strange) thing you've heard about one of your relatives? One of my second cousins is a documentary maker dude; I think my mom mentioned something about having a third cousin that's wanted by the FBI or something like that and the last anyone heard of him was in CA; I have family pretty much all over the world right now, so that's kinda interesting: Spain, Australia, Nebraska (a foreign country as far as I'm concerned), Korea (sorta), and Florida.

3. How do you feel about legacy names like John Henry Smith IV or naming children after other relatives? Depends on the relative and the name. I won't name my children a name I don't like (this is something I owe Derek an apology over constantly because I don't like his middle name: Alfred, but it was his grandpa's name, and it's his dad's name). But I'd love to pass on my middle name, which is Grace.

4. Would you consider yourself and/or your family to be traditional? yes, but not in the traditional sense. hehe. We have modern traditions like bowling as a family, and an appreciate for Disney, and having all the cousins sit on the floor in a row at Grandma's house for dinners because there's not enough room at tables. I miss Grandma's house. I miss Grandma.

5. What is one tradition you have passed on to your children and/or plan to pass on to them?Disney stuff for sure. Probably, as silly as it is, wearing matching PJ's on Christmas Day. FFF days. Hopefully things from Derek's family too, like maybe going to dinner with his dad on Monday nights (I think that would be a good way for our kids to visit with their Grandpa Fred regularly) and playing football...but not til they're older!

hm. That's it. :-D

Preparing for The Guys!

Oh! hello change in LJ format when writing an entry. I like you. You're much cleaner looking.

Anyway.
I slept in tooooday! 9:00 is so sleeping in.

Things TO DO Today!
1. <s>Clean my bedroom</s>
2. <s>Take care of all the Christmas decoration boxes</s>
3. <s>Laundry! Lots of Laundry!</s>
4. <s>Clean the bathroom: smack some sense into my sister!</s>
5. <s>Clean Crush's cage...hire little brother and dad to help with this.</s>
6. <s>LUNCH...I think I'll do this first, I'm starving.</s>
7. <s>Clean up the basement.</s><s>...vaccuum a lot! </s><s>Dust all the toys down there!</s> <s>Make sure it's clean enough for the boys to sleep in.</s>
8. <s>Shopping with mom for groceries? Maybe shopping with dad instead?</s>
9. <s>Vaccuum the rest of the house...possibly hire little brother to do this.</s>
10. <s>NO CLASSES OR WORK!</s>
11. <s>Work Christmas party/dinner at 6:30 at Papa Vinno's.</s>
12. <s>Hang out with Abigail?</s>

That's about it!
It should be a great day.
Off to find some food!

Christmas Meme! Then seriously writing this paper.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? It depends on the person and present. If it's a bunch of little things, I'll put them in a gift bag. If it's box-shaped, wrapping is a no-brainer.

2. Real tree or artificial? My family would love to have a real tree, but with everyone so busy: dad starting a new job, mom working and schooling, me with a million things, we just don't have the time. It's sad. But we loyally set up the artificial and decorated it all pretty.

3. When do you put up the tree? We set it up last Friday!

4. Do you like eggnog? Heh, I usually have a glass once a year to remind myself that I really don't like it.

5. Favorite gift received as a child? Going to Disney last year.

6. Do you have a nativity scene? Yep! Like three of them. My favorite one is the tiny little wooden one that's like a toy. The pieces are smaller than an inch, and we used to take turns setting it up different ways (hehe, sometimes one of the wisemen got to me Joseph, heh, *that's* not kosher!)

7. Hardest person to buy for? Everyone. I'm so bad at Christmas. I never know what to get anyone, and no one ever helps me out with suggestions!

8. Easiest person to buy for? Dad - get him a huge clock to put on his clock wall! Mom too sometimes, usually she'll tell you straight up what she wants.

9. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Eh, probably a Christmas mug. Nothing horrible, just cliche. Hehehe, and I give them as presents to people who I don't know how to shop for, so yeah, I can't complain.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Oh MAIL for sure. I love looking at people's pictures and reading their three page letters!

11. Favorite Christmas Movie? Elf! "I'm siiiinging. I'm in store and I'm SIIIINGinG!"

12. When do you start shopping for Christmas? As soon as finals are done. Which is today!

13. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Oh come on now, who hasn't? haha.

14. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? fruit pizza!!!

15. Clear lights or colored on the tree? colored! This year our tree is green and white: Go Spartans!

16. Favorite Christmas song? "Mary Did You Know" and "Grown Up Christmas List" and "Come O Come Emmanual"

17. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay at home. I hate travelling. Unless it's to a Dennis house.

18. Can you name all of Santa's reindeers? Yes. I work at a daycare.

19. Angel on the tree top or a star? Angel! We got a new one this year, she's white, with light green lace on her dress. Or Tinker Bell. I have a Tink topper.

20. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? My birthday is on Christmas Eve! So presents on BOTH DAYS! But...as a family, we've started a couple traditions: open the presents from Grma and Grpa right away, but do it carefully so as not to rip the paper or boxes...take out Christmas present, enjoy it or laugh about it, close up box and wrap it empty, and put it under the tree again. If you can do this without Dad catching you, you get extra points. Another tradition: everyone open one present at midnight.

21. Most annoying thing about this time of year? It's also exam season, so that adds a ton of stress. Also, parents who take their kids to the daycare during the holiday weeks even when they have the days off (and no, most of them are NOT doing their shopping then). Also, not being with loved ones: Myria, Peter, Rachel, Elijah, the Twins, Renee, Grandma and Grandpa Dennis...it can be hard. Especially when Derek's at school still.

Seduction Quiz!

Tehehehe, this is totally amusing. So much that I read it outloud to my mom and my sister, and mom wants to take the quiz now. Anyway, Derek needs to tell me if it's right or not.

**edit**
OHMYGOOSH, I HAVE THE SAME SEDUCTIVE STYLE AS MY MOTHER!!! hahahahahaha, that's so wrong.

Christmas/Birthday Wishlist!

My name is Carolyn Grace. I'm a 21 year old English Major!
I love life and love Christmas time. My birthday is on Christmas Eve, so I have always
(sorta selfishly) thought of Christmas as my own personal holiday. I've already gone through some of the lists and hopefully granted a couple presents, I'd love to have a few of mine granted in return.
Leave a comment, I'll email you the address you can send things to (it's a P.O. for safety reasons!)!
Loves! God bless during these Holi-Days.

1. IM me at Car0lyGrace on AIM Right this instant I am stuck in a seriously long class that I hate, but my boyfriend and best friend are driving home for Thanksgiving, so I have no one to talk to!!! Add me to your list, and IM me at somepoint, just say you saw my Holiday List and we'll chat. :)

2. Socks! I work in the infant room at a daycare. I can't wear shoes in that room (we try to keep it as clean as possible for the babies to crawl around in), so I like fun socks: fuzzy ones, comfy ones, cute ones, silly ones, beautiful ones...whatever you come up with! I wear size 8-11.

3. Wedding or Engagement magazines/pictures. My sister is engaged, and I'll be engaged sometime in the next 8 months hopefully. We're looking for bridesmaid's dresses for my sister's wedding, and I just LOVE to look at the pictures in the magazines.

4. Anything to do with face painting. Do you have a picture of yourself with your face painted? Do you have face paints at home I could have? Do you know of a book you could send me? Do you have your own ideas that you've drawn out that I could use? anything and everything to do with face painting is awesome.

5. Nail polish! New? Used? Doesn't matter! I am on week two of not biting me nails, I'm doing awesome! Nail polish would be a great present to give me more motivation and reward for breaking a very difficult habit for me.

6. Gas cards. National chains are the best for this, obviously. Meijer would work. See, my boyfriend, Sir Derek, and my best friend, Clare, go to school 250 miles away. Because Derek plays college football and has to stay around school for the majority of his weekends, it's up to me to drive to see him when I get the chance. I drive down there at least every three weeks. I also commute to school. Although it's not $4.00 a gallon like it was predicted it would be at this time, gas is still expensive. Gas cards would be awesome.

7. Italian charms I love my bracelet! Charms that I would like (if they even exist): teddy bear, baby, books, grey cat, pirate, love, ballroom dance, tools, robotics, superhero, writing, poe, whitman, detroit pistons, catholic, disney things, indiana jones, han solo, lightsaber...you can also check my interests for things. Really, any extra charm you have around, I'd love. If I don't like it or use it, I'll pass it on to someone else!

8. Stickers! Particularly butterfly stickers for my best friend, Clare, and bee stickers for me, and my FIRST Robotics team: The Killer Bees, Team 33.

9. Light a votum candle in a Catholic Church for one of the following: my Grandpa Ken who died of Pancreatic cancer ~ 6 years ago, my Grandma Mary who died a year and a half ago, Derek and my's relationship, two of my best friends mother's who died this year, my best friend Clare - for help with fulfilling her goal of finishing school and going back to Africa to help pregnant women there, a general prayer of guidance for my life. If you do this, it would be fantastic if you could send me a piece of literature from the church (a weekly bulitain perhaps?), but if you can't do this, just an email to tell me where would be wonderful.

10. Donation to Salvation Army. Go through your clothes, old things, etc...donate anything you haven't used in the past year or so.

Stalker Survey

They come in threes.

I just wanted to let anyone who is a friend of Bob on my LJ know that his mom died, I think on Friday morning. The visitation is Sunday, November 12th - TODAY - from 3:00-8:00 at Modetz Funeral Home - on the corner of Silverbell and Lapeer Rd - Lapeer Rd is also called M-24.
The funeral servuce is TOMORROW, Monday November 13th:
Kensignton Community Church
1825 E. Square Lake Rd. in Troy.

I know at least a few of you will want to be there, and I'll probably call a couple of you today to let you know.

Mrs. Biegun was loved by a lot of people, and she fought that cancer so hard and for so long. I remember being so sad my senior year that Mrs. Biegun wasn't around as BandMom, because she was always so loving and fun. The other BandMoms could never ever ever live up to her.

Keep Bob and his family in your prayers, please.

Loves.

Stephen Colbert

"The people have spoken, apparently they're tired of freedom.
Don't get me wrong, I just thought the country would last longer than 230 years.
That's it folks, America is over. At this point we might as well give it back to the goddamned Indians; we'll see how they deal with foreign enemies bent on their destruction.
Here's your cake, terrorists. There you go! Enjoy! Mmm...tastes like surrender.
You know what really gets me here, you know what really gets me? Democrats didn't really win this thing, the Republicans lost it! They ran away from the president. 'Hey! The ships in trouble! Lets drown the captain!' We were *this* close to Jesus coming back. And you Republicans who turned your back on the president are going to wander in the desert for the next two years. literally. someone's gonna have to replace those troops in Iraq.
And don't think you're off the hook, voters, you're the ones who made this bed, now you're the ones who will have to move over so a gay couple can sleep in it.
Tomorrow, you're all gonna wake up in a Brave New World. A world where the Constitution gets trampled by an army of terrorist clones created in a stem cell research lab run by homosexual doctors who sterilize their instruments over burning American flags. Where tax and spend Democrats take all your hard earned money and use it to buy electric cars for National Public Radio and teach evolution to illegal immigrants. OH, and EVERYBODY'S HIGH! WHOOOO!"

Ah...Stephen Colbert. It's funny, because it's true.
Anyway...totally watching his show tonight: Dean Kamen is going to be on it!!! Awesome. It starts at like 10:30 though, so, uhm, tomorrow I'm going to be even more exhausted. Oh well, it'll be worth it, and I can sleep in on Saturday.

*MY* Friday Five! :-D

1. If you could have a super power, which one would you have? The ability to teleport without time loss. Also, being able to change my appearance at will: either to do things like have pink hair, lots of piercings, and baggy pants and tight shirts, or to blend in with the crowd, or to wake up in the morning and just change how I look without worrying about taking 45 minutes worth of getting ready. But mostly teleportation.
2. What would be your supername? Gracer...cause, I like it.
3. Who would be your arch-nemesis and what would be their superpower? Boring Boy! His powers include boring people to death, and ruining things with his awful attitude and opinion that if he's in a bad mood then everyone else has to be too.
4. Who would be your sidekick and would they have a superpower? Teddy! His power is cuddling our enemies until they're happy again...he's good at that. Also, he has sweet style and is good at entraining people.
5. What would be your motto? Don't Worry, Be Happy!
